Frequently Asked Questions
Do you only serve certain states?
We currently serve Medicare beneficiaries in California, Arizona, Washington, Nevada, Texas, and Florida — with the same no-cost guidance in each state.
Can I change my Medicare plan later?
Yes. Each year during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (October 15 – December 7), you can review and change your plan. We help clients compare their options every year to ensure the best fit.
Is there a cost for your Medicare guidance?
No. Our services are free to you. We’re paid by the insurance carriers, and that doesn’t affect your premiums.
Do I need a Prescription Drug Plan (Part D)?
Yes, if you take medications, you’ll want Part D coverage. Without it, you could face a late enrollment penalty later. Some Medicare Advantage plans already include Part D.
What’s the difference between Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement (Medigap)?
Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans replace Original Medicare and often include extra benefits like vision, dental, and prescription drug coverage. Medicare Supplement (Medigap) policies work with Original Medicare to help pay costs such as deductibles and copayments.
When should I sign up for Medicare?
You are first eligible to enroll in Medicare starting 3 months before your 65th birthday, the month of your birthday, and 3 months after — this is called your Initial Enrollment Period. If you delay, you could face penalties.
